Antioch: Female Riding Scooter Struck by Van Suffers Major Injuries

by ECT

On May 18 at 11:39pm, Antioch Police responded to the 1300 block of Sycamore Dr. on a report of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. Officers arrived on scene and contacted both involved parties.

The pedestrian, a 42 year old female Antioch resident, sustained major injuries and was transported to John Muir Hospital. The driver, a 57 year old male Antioch resident, was on scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The preliminary investigation suggests that the female pedestrian was actually riding a scooter in the opposing lanes of traffic when she was struck by the vehicle. Alcohol or drugs does not appear to be involved in this incident.

No status of the female pedestrian is available at this time.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call the Antioch Police at (925) 778-2441 or Corporal R. Martin at 925-779-6900 ext.83343. You may also text a tip to 274637 (CRIMES) using key word ANTIOCH

Support Susan Bonilla who takes her family to Hawaii on vacation with tax payers dime? Look at why she is supported by Antioch Police, Brentwood Police, firefighters and teachers. How much money have they paid her off. She needs to go back to teaching. I don’t see another media outlet voicing who they support. This is only a editorial/blog page that likes to chase the police scanners. I can’t wait until you get arrested for videoing an arrest for interfering with the police. Withholding the addresses because you don’t want people to know… You act like your privileged to listen to a scanner. If you where so then you would be able to listen to Pittsburg pd and all others who use encrypted radio transmissions

Hi Phil W…. how are you. Another alias I see. You might want to use your real name instead of hiding behind a computer. For someone who is a “photographer” who likes to take photos of children under 18, you might want to learn the laws.
