During Tuesday night’s Antioch City Council Meeting, the council will go through a list of follow-up items that have accumulated over the past few years. The items were requests by councilmembers to be discussed and later brought back.
Here is a list of items on the list:
4/28/15 – Donation Bin Ordinance (Also address Illegal Dumping):
- Repeated from 1/13/15; Discussed 12/8 Ordinance 2016 Can’t do a ban. Can regulate conditions around illegal dumping.
- Anticipated first quarter calendar year 2017
10/25/16 – Explore options to camping ordinance
- Anticipated March/April 2017
12/13/16 – Additional information on non-medical marijuana uses within the City
of Antioch. Temporary moratorium already established.
Presented to Council on Dec. 13, 2016. Follow up anticipated Feb/March 2017
10/13/15 & 3/22/16 – Cost of Body Camera Program
- Presented to Council on June 28, 2016. To be brought back to Council February 2017.
4/12/16 & 8/23/16 – Would like to follow up on Animal Control. After June meeting will need cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Include Pet Harbor & ARF.
- Presented to Council on June 14, 2016; additional ACA 4 and Office Assistant 1. Presented to Council on Sept. 27, 2016; MOU with ARF.
- Follow up on alternatives anticipated February 2017
6/14/16 – Camera’s for Freeway (Highway 4)
- Anticipated February 2017
11/8/16 – Creation of Fire District
- Follow up with Fire District, Discuss with council member Wilson. Date TBD
8/9/2016 & 12/13/16 – Discussion on the Beede lot. No Action. Possibilities for this site.
- Thorpe – Wants to understand where we are at with this parcel

3/8/16, 5/10/16 & 12/13/16 – Disc Golf Course at Prewett Park

12/13/16 – Fee’s for non-profits. Wants to look at our fees in conjunction with school district fees.
