Antioch: Boy Injured After Being Struck by Car on G. Street

At 3:11 pm Friday afternoon, emergency personnel responded to an auto versus pedestrian that left a teenage boy injured and transported by AMR.

The boy, who had been riding his bike in a cross walk in the intersection of G. Street and Fitzuren Rd. where major construction is occurring off Highway 4. It’s unclear what caused the accident and is currently being investigated.

There is no word on the boys injuries except he was moving and visibily showed signs of pain at the scene. Nate Anderson provided the photographs and information about this incident.

Very bad spot with the construction. That intersection is unsafe for anyone.
