The following message was provided by Belshaw Principal Mr. Lewis regarding a suspicious activity involving a student and an unknown male before school. The man tried multiple times to get the student to get into his vehicle.
Good Afternoon, this is Mr. Lewis, Principal of Belshaw Elementary. At approximately 1:15 pm a 5th grade student reported that at approximately 8:40am this morning, he was dropped off near school by Worrell Drive and started walking towards campus.
Shortly after being dropped off, a male suspect possibly Asian in his 30’s, dark hair, clean shaven driving a smaller red 2-door Toyota Truck pulled alongside the student rolled down the window and asked the student to get in his vehicle. The student continued walking towards campus ignoring the man.
According to the student, the man continued to drive North Bound on Roosevelt Ln, then turned around and pulled into the school drive way where the student was still walking. The student reported that the man again asked the student to get in. The student started running toward the front gate and suspect fled back towards Worrell Dr. Both the Antioch Police Department and the student’s parent have been notified.
Please remind your children to never talk to strangers and to never get in a car or leave with a stranger –even if he or she seems nice or says they are a friend or a family member. We will have additional school security in the area and will alert the police and parents should we observe anything suspicious. Thank you, as always, for your support in this matter.

Omg all these reports thAts now 5 kidnapping attempts in the last month or two what are the people doing wrong here why are we not catching all these perverts I’ve always been a firm believer that any man or woman child molester be castrated or fixed an put on medication or just euthanized like dogs there’s nothing but death that will stop a sick headed individual i feel as a victom myself that the laws an grounds of punishment for this crime are so petty that these criminals keep doing it there’s no big punishment for it but petty jail time an being registered Ya obviously this isn’t working I think death is a justifiable punishment as nothing will cure their sick brain an they will continue to go back an keep doin it there’s no big punishment for this at all ive never gotten over being molested an it was 18 years ago i say we put these convicted perverts to death after being caught what’s wrong with that ! I say justice for the victims of these crimes that will live the rest of their life’s with scars emotional issues an damage i vote death as second offense an location devices put on there ankles to track these percerts live an anytime they got to close to a school or any place that involves children the bracelet would notify the police immediately I think this would help stop the kidnappings and stop at the perverts I think if the laws were stricter and there were more advanced critical punishments I think it would help a lot I think all schools should have security cameras as well as outdoor security guards we need to fix this problem as citizens antioch is going down the whole we need to clean this place up to many tweakers homeless an mentally crazy walkin the streets anymore come on antioch !!!!’
In foreign countries, your wish for the death penalty or castration for those perverts would have come true. Unfortunately in America, if something like that were to happen, there would be an uproar about human rights and capital punishment from the liberals.
