At 11:40 am, Antioch Police responded to a vehicle accident that left a car stuck in a tree on Lone Tree Way. No one was injured in the crash, however, these pictures are yet another reminder that people need to pay attention when they are on the road.
Of course, Nate Anderson’s photos provides yet another example on why one needs to be on the lookout for Sunday drivers.

Seem there have been an unusual number of accidents in Antioch, Brentwood, and Oakley lately. A whole bunch of people not paying attention. Great pictures! You guys are really getting good on this little blog.
The weather has improved and people are out an about. Way too many people are driving with no regard for the traffic laws or the safety of other people.
My daughter was hit by a guy who fully admitted he saw her changing lanes to go around when she had the ability, and he went ahead and hit her anyway. His insurance says she was wrong, but I’ve always thought that was why they increased the amount of lanes, so you could use them both. Since that happened it has almost happened to me three times in the same place at Wilbur Ave. People just go whether or not you are in the lane before them. Guess it doesn’t matter much because the cops don’t come unless someone is dead, they don’t have time for such trivialities, so people like that jerk get by with it. Of course our insurance did not pay him due to the fact that they have a brain.
It’s that tree’s fault for being there, lol.
people need to chill out on the road. it’s not a game you are playing, it’s peoples LIVES that are at risk.
