Antioch: 21-Year-Old Arrested After Shooting on Attempted Homicide Charges

The Antioch Police Department announced Sunday the arrest of David Hall, 21, after a shooting in the 1700 block of Magnolia Way

The incident occurred Sunday at 1:42 pm where officers were dispatched to the report of gun shots heard on Magnolia Way in Antioch.

According to Antioch Police Sergeant Shawn Morin, while police were responding, they learned a male victim was shot and had been transported to an area hospital by family members. The victim was located at an area hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Officers at the scene of the shooting were able to develop information on the shooter and located him in a nearby apartment on Spanos Street. The suspect, David Hall was arrested without incident and a firearm suspected to be used in the shooting was recovered.

Hall was booked in Martinez Detention Facility on a charge of attempted homicide along with related weapons charges.

Police stated the information was preliminary and no further details were being released.

A young black male shooting???? NO WAY! Say it isn’t so, not in dear Ol’ Antioch, where the NAACP, Mayor, police chief and police are scared to arrest these thugs in danger of being label “racist” or “profiling”.
