Antioch: 20-Year-Old Female Shot Saturday Night

On Saturday night at approximately 9:45 pm, the Antioch Police Department received numerous calls of a female shot in the 900 block of W. 7th St.

Upon officers’ arrival, they located a 20-year-old female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds that appear to be non-life threatening.  She was transported to an area hospital, and she is expected to recover.

The incident shut down the roadway as police located multiple gunshots on W. 7^th Street.

According to Corporal Steve McElroy, no suspect(s) were located at this time, and the case remains under investigation.

Note – this was the second shooting on Saturday, a man was shot at 2:25 am Tuesday in the 100 block of Walter Way.
