On April 18 at approximately 4:52 am, the Antioch Police Department received a call of two subjects in a car in the drive through of the Jack In The Box restaurant, located at 2505 ‘A’ Street, armed with a rifle.
Officers arrived on scene and attempted to make contact with the occupants of the car, but they received no response. The officers were unable to see clearly into the car due to heavy window tinting on the car windows.
According to Antioch Police Lieutenant D. Bittner, eventually officers approached the car and made contact with the occupants who were passed out in the car. Police arrested Michael Ferreira, 19, and Carlos Cabezas, 32, both of Antioch.
A loaded short barreled shotgun and a military style rifle were located in the car along with a large amount of marijuana.
Ferreira and Cabezas were arrested without incident and sent to the Martinez Detention Facility.

… and California wants to legalize marijuana? NOT!
Yes we should legalize it, Mr. G. Take the power out of the hands of criminals.
If Marijuana were legal, these two fools wouldn’t have a market to sell it in. Take it into regulated retail and out of dangerous individuals hands (such as these two) and perhaps they wouldn’t be rolling around selling it armed to the teeth.
Only in the great city of Antioch. Dang, this town gets more disgusting everyday.
You are so right.. it is puking disgusting.
“Felon” in possession? Prop 47 and prop 57 in action! We need to change these so we don’t keep putting our police in more danger.
That’s a wake up call I would have liked to have witnessed. Good job, Officers!
Thank goodness most criminals are freaking idiots!
This would have made the best episode of Live PD ever. They would never have cut to any other location.
Good job APD. You are taking back the streets. Hopefully that car got impounded -put the hurt on these guys.
