Annual BART COPPS Unit “Kupcake for Kids” Fundraiser Raises $3k

On November 28, the BART Police COPPS Unit held their 4th annual “Kupcake for Kids” event to raise money for Shop with a Cop Program.

According to BART, more than 50 dozen cupcakes were donated to the fundraiser coming from: Amaia Bakery-Fremont, Behind The Sweets-San Leandro, Cake Pops by Jennifer Perez-Oakley, Cakes by Karl-Vallejo, Cookie Proper-Oakland, Cupcakes by Jennifer Sheridan-Oakley, Cupcakes by Tania-Danville, Gregory’s-Oakland, Hummingbird Bakery-Vallejo, Jenn’s Cupcakes and Parties-Castro Valley, Natty Cakes-Berkeley, Oh Cake-Fremont, Susie Cakes-Lafayette,  Sweet Adeline’s Bake Shop-Berkeley, Sweetart Creative Bakery-Pleasanton, and
vyassetti Cake Pops-Hayward.

Members of BART Police sold cupcakes and other baked goods donated by local bakeries. The event raised over $3,000 which will be used to take 50-60 underprivileged children on a holiday shopping spree at a local business.

Shop with a Cop will take place on 12/12/18.
