Saturday evening, we posted our second Photo Caption Contest with a 3-hour window to submit a photo caption from a photograph of a recent fire in Antioch. The photograph captures East Contra Costa Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Burris with Contra Costa County Firefighter Schooley.
The winner of our second Photo Caption Contest is Dana O’Brien who posted, “He’s the one from the Village People, not me”. Congratulations Dana!!!!! As the winner, Dana will receive a milkshake from Lumpy’s Diner on us!
The runner up was Lawrence N Cynthia Blythe who posted, “This guy was in our pin up calendar, the 13th month!”

We had just under 100 submissions in a 3-hour window to enter which made it difficult to choose a winner. But have no fear; we will be announcing another contest shortly on our Facebook Page.

After all the bad news this week, I needed a break from it and this was just the thing for it. These all made me laugh.
