9th Congressional District: McNerney Leads the Money Race

Congressman Jerry McNerney (D-Stockton) has a comfortable lead going into the 2014 campaign season when it comes to campaign fundraising. During the last filing period, he collected $130,000 in donations giving him a total of $306,000 cash on hand.

Meanwhile, his republican opponent out of Stockton, Steve Colangelo, has raised just $7,000. He has just $582 cash on hand while having a debt of $23,000.

No report is available for Karen Matthews Davis, a republican out of Stockton, however, she is expected to officially announce a run for the seat today at the Stockton Police Department. She has loaned her campaign $12,000.
