The Elderly Wish Foundation is hosting its 3rd Annual “Fund a Wish” Drawing which will go towards helping grant seniors a wish.
Tickets are $100 and only 100 tickets will be sold with the drawing occurring on Sept. 21 at Umpqua Bank in Antioch located at 3700 Lone Tree Way (in the Raley’s Shopping Center).
- 1st Prize – $1,000
- 2nd Prize – $750
- 3rd Prize – $250

About Elderly Wish Foundation:
The idea of a foundation which granted wishes to the elderly was pursued by Rebecca Crowder when her mother, Elizabeth Baudino McWhorter, died. Rebecca used inheritance money to complete two wishes. Seeing the joy in the faces of the recipients, the idea to grant wishes to seniors was born.
Caring for an elderly friend, parent or loved one can be one of life’s most consuming tasks. Sometimes the days are so long and tiring especially if the person you are caring for has a life-threatening illness. This is where An Elderly Wish Foundation can help. Our foundation will grant that special senior a “wish”. It may be something that is just enough to bring a smile to their face or joy and happiness during this difficult time.
