A 16-year-old male wanted in connection with a  robbery was arrested Saturday evening after running from Antioch Police officers.

At roughly 5:30 pm Saturday, Antioch Police Officers responded to E. Madill Road for a report of a fight between neighbors. Prior to arrival, several other calls came in reporting guns were being shown.

Antioch Police arrived where they detained roughly a dozen people and determined the subject of interest in the incident fled the scene through a backyard.

According to police, a 16-year-old male had a warrant out for his arrest from a previous robbery. Police had tried to arrest him earlier in the day.

Police began searching the area when they located him running westbound on E. Madill before hoping over a fence and onto the railroad tracks. Officers immediately set up a perimeter in the area of Belshaw and E. 19th St.

Officers located the 16-year-old coming over a fence on Belshaw and the officer gave pursuit into a backyard where he went over another fence. The subject then took off on food down Chestnut Ave and down E. 19th before being taken into custody on Evergreen and E. 18th at gunpoint where he was held until backup arrived.

Great work… now report these section 8 ghetto filth bags to the housing authority so their voucher is cancelled.

There are strict rules to having section 8 vouchers revoked and one of them is not being involved in crime.

I wish that were true RJB but having gone through the process with neighbors it doesn’t work that way. County is far more lenient than they should be.

Thanks for the reply. There has to be some way to cancel voucher checks for criminals and fraudsters of the section 8 program…

It would be better for all if they did. Maybe a job might keep them out of mischief, learn some responsibility, and contribute to the community. Leaching off of the system should not be a career.

It’s worked for you so far, right Chuckie?

Im so disgusted with the comments from you fine upstanding citizens of the community.

Oh let me guess cherry_crush that was your BF, lover, honey, homeboy or whatever. It’s called speaking the truth and seeing the same old repeat stuff and what USUALLY surrounds those circumstances. US fine upstanding citizens of Antioch are tired of the filth, crime, and Section 8 abuse in our City. We are going to stand for it. As soon as the law makers of CALIF get their heads out of there you know whats…..CCW Permits will be a right and we can protect ourselves, community, neighbors, and get these punks in jail or dead, whichever they decide to choose.

You just implied that Legislators need to approve CCW permits for anyone who wants them so you can engage in summary executions of kids on the streets.

………and you wonder why you can’t find a sympathetic ear to the idea. Opposition only needs to point to comments like the one you just posted and it’s end of discussion.

That last thing lawmakers want to do is arm you hot heads in public. Putting law enforcement in deeper trouble trying to tell the law breaking idiots from the low IQ Bubbas who are packing.

We have a justice system and due process. We are a nation of laws. It’s embedded in our founding documents. You don’t like it, maybe there’s a more agreeable place for you to live in a more lawless country. Evolution can take it from there.

Oh no , not at all.. & how did you come to that conclusion? Was it the way I showed deep seeded affection for the idiot on the sidewalk? Or is that the way you distract others from the comment at hand.. You know, the one where I CLEARLY state people like YOU, are partial to blame for stupid young punks not having a clue as to how to act .. Who are they “looking up to”. ADULTS that want “kill them or put them in jail”. smh.

Buy a Clue.. You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! THAT was what my initial comment was more implying.. In SO MANY less words. (Sarcastic I guess) so, CCW SUPPORTER .. You can go support ALL YOU WANT. I might see you in one of these pictures one day being taken down & arrested, for “protecting” yourself from filth.. There is an easier way you know. Its called showering.
