14-Year-old Airlifted to Children’s Hospital After ATV Accident

On Tuesday at 6:51 pm, a 14-year-old was injured after falling off an ATV In the 4900 block of Briones Valley Road in unincorporated Brentwood.

According to the Fire District, Engine 52 arrived on scene and found a 14-year-old female down on the Street. The patient was transferred to AMR where the patient was transported by air ambulance to Children’s Hospital in Oakland with a possible head injury.

The cause of the accident is unknown and no further details were provided.

This is the second ATV accident the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District has responded to in the last several days. On April 17, a male in this 30’s suffered a head injury after falling off an ATV in a residential neighborhood in Oakley.

There will be an ATV accident in Antioch. I witnessed a 20 something male low brain weight weaving in and out of traffic on James Donlon.
